According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in the first days of September, at primary and secondary boarding schools in the border area of Thanh Hoa province, the atmosphere of preparation for the opening day took place urgently.
A new point in this school year is that many students will study in new, spacious schools, invested synchronously in facilities and modern equipment.
Recorded at Yen Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School (Yen Khuong commune, Thanh Hoa province), before the opening day, the preparation atmosphere was quite bustling. Forces such as border guards, police, teachers, local unions, along with parents and students are actively cleaning up and renovating classrooms and school grounds.
It is known that previously, in November 2025, Yen Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School was started construction with a total cost of more than 123 billion VND. The project includes 10 buildings and a synchronously invested system of facilities and equipment.
After many months of urgent construction, the project was completed and handed over before the new school year 2026-2027.
Talking to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, teacher Hoang Khac Hanh - Principal of Yen Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School - said that the school's completion on schedule and timely commissioning before the new school year made teachers and students very excited.
In this school year, the school is expected to welcome more than 700 students. With a synchronous and modern infrastructure and equipment system, teaching and learning conditions will be much more favorable. This is the first time the locality has had a school invested on such a large scale, so teachers, parents and students are all very happy" - teacher Hanh shared.
Also according to teacher Hanh, on September 4, the school coordinated with local authorities to urgently complete the general rehearsal and final preparations, ready for the opening ceremony on September 5.
Ms. Lo Thi Doan (residing in Tu Chieng village, Yen Khuong commune) said that right from the time the project was started, local people were very interested and looked forward to the day the school was completed.
I never thought my locality would have a large-scale and spacious school like this. From now on, our children and grandchildren will study in better conditions, and will nurture their future under the new school roof, so people are very reassured and excited" - Ms. Doan shared.
