On January 12, the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang province issued a document announcing the third exam subject in the 10th grade public high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year.
Accordingly, the third exam subject is Natural Sciences, multiple-choice format, exam time of 90 minutes. Each exam room has many exam codes, ensuring the principle that the two adjacent candidates do not overlap in code.
Candidates take the test on multiple-choice answer sheets and the test results are graded using software.
The exam content belongs to the 2018 General Education Program; closely following the structure and matrix of exam questions issued by the Department of Education and Training. The exam questions ensure correct assessment of students' abilities, as a basis for enrollment into 10th grade high school in the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training requests educational institutions to fully inform teachers, students and parents to be proactive in teaching and reviewing.
The early announcement of the third exam subject is expected to help 9th grade students clearly orient their study plans, contributing to improving the quality of enrollment into 10th grade high schools in the area.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the 3rd exam subject must change after 3 years and be announced no later than March 31st every year.
Previously, Son La also announced the subjects for the 10th grade entrance exam including the combination of history, geography; natural sciences and English.
Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang are the first two provinces to announce the 3rd exam subject (English) for public 10th grade.
