Recognizing the role of artificial intelligence applications in improving the quality of teaching and learning, recently, the Department of Education and Training of Hoa Lu city (Ninh Binh) has organized many seminars and training sessions at primary and secondary schools in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Luc - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Hoa Lu city said that at the seminar, students were instructed to apply AI technology such as text-to-voice technology with human-like emotions; technology to create existing images into animated images; video editing technology, dubbing audio, adding subtitles in videos; using ChatGPT to gain more knowledge to build a smart chatbot to answer students' questions about history, geography, culture of Ninh Binh... to effectively serve the lessons.
"The use of artificial intelligence in the education sector is becoming increasingly important due to its many advantages and potential to change the learning experience for students, helping students become more interested in learning, love school and class more. Thereby creating a friendly learning environment for them" - Mr. Luc shared.
In addition, applying artificial intelligence in teaching helps teachers experiment with new approaches, adjust teaching and lesson planning methods, and engage students in new and engaging ways.
At Ninh Giang Secondary School (Hoa Lu city), the organization of an illustrative lesson using AI in the experience lesson has created excitement for students. During the lesson, teachers use a combination of modern teaching equipment and learning materials including textbooks, teacher's books, and presentation of lesson plans via Powerpoint, and group discussion exercises.
In addition, the school also organizes creative art lessons with AI such as talented handwriting, Hoa Lu land and people, learning to be a lace embroiderer, learning to be a stone craftsman, hometown cuisine...
Improve teaching performance
Mr. Dinh Van Kham - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province said that in the current social context with the explosive development of information technology, using artificial intelligence AI in education is an important step to improve the efficiency of management and teaching in schools.
In 2024, the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province organized training on AI application in school management and lesson design online at 449 points in all education and training departments, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, vocational education and continuing education centers with the participation of more than 1,300 managers, teachers, and members of the teacher community.
"We invited a training reporter to convey content related to the GPT Chat application in school management and teaching. At the same time, we introduced some AI tools to support teachers in teaching and applications to design lectures..." - Mr. Kham shared.
