On August 23, Mr. Dau Ba Thin - Vice Principal of Hong Duc University - said that the reason for the high standard score for pedagogical majors is the demand for teacher recruitment in Thanh Hoa province. In 2025, the recruitment quota in the form of "booking" will only be 318 quotas for 14 sectors. In which, the quota for pedagogical majors is very small: Literature 20, History 15, Geography 15... Meanwhile, the number of candidates achieving over 28 points is large.
Another important reason why the standard score for the pedagogical major at Hong Duc University is always high is that successful students are entitled to study support policies according to Decree 116/2020. Pedagogical students are exempted from tuition and living allowance of 3.63 million VND/month for the entire 4 school years" - Mr. Thin shared.
In addition, in recent years, many candidates have wanted to become teachers because the demand for teacher recruitment in the future is still high; the pedagogical sector is also receiving attention from the State, improving the treatment regime.
Previously, on the afternoon of August 22, Hong Duc University announced the admission scores for majors in 2025. Of which, the pedagogical major has the highest benchmark score of up to 28.38 points. Specifically, Literature Pedagogy takes 28.38 points; Geography Pedagogy takes 28.20 points and History Pedagogy takes 28.13 points.
The whole school has 14/40 majors with benchmark scores of 22 points or higher; 6 majors have 18 points. The remaining majors have benchmark scores ranging from 16 - 17.5 points.
