Accordingly, currently, the water level of rivers in Bac Ninh province has been at alert level 3. Water level on rivers is forecasted to continue to rise due to floods from upstream.
To proactively respond to floods, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue (PCTT and TKCN) of Bac Ninh province requested the PCTT and TKCN Steering Committees of districts, towns and cities to strictly implement the telegrams of the PCTT and TKCN Steering Committee of the province; direct to increase the frequency of checking along the dike lines to promptly detect incidents and handle them from the first hour.
In particular, localities absolutely prohibit vehicles from moving on the dike, except for vehicles on duty. Prepare well for the "4 on-site" work to promptly respond to and handle incidents.
At the same time, promptly report and propose any missing conditions to the standing agency of the PCTT and TKCN Command Committee for additional advice.
The armed forces' dike protection forces are ready to respond to and immediately handle incidents related to dikes and irrigation works in the province.
