According to Lao Dong's investigation on November 2, the Dan Phuong District Construction Investment Project Management Board (Hanoi) is issuing bidding documents for package 7 of the Tay Thang Long Road Construction Project (section from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai Canal).
Package No. 7 for construction and traffic safety has an approved price of more than 775 billion VND, contract implementation period of 450 days, contractor selection is through open bidding, bid opening date is November 18, 2024.
Previously, from April to July 2024, the Dan Phuong District Construction Investment Project Management Board implemented 4 bidding packages of the project, including: Consulting on survey and construction drawing design - cost estimates; Consulting on cadastral mapping and site clearance; Consulting on construction drawing design review; Clearing bombs, mines and explosives.
The project to build the Tay Thang Long route (section from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai Canal Road, Dan Phuong District) has a length of 5.8km through Tan Lap, Tan Hoi and Dan Phuong communes.
According to the design, the section from Ring Road 3.5 to the intersection with Ring Road 4 (4.6km) has a cross-section of 60.5m, including a main road 2x19.25m for 10 lanes; a median strip 6m; and a sidewalk 2x8m.
The intersection with Ring Road 4 to Dan Hoai Canal (1.2km) has a cross-section of 40m, including: main road 2x10.5m for 6 lanes; median strip 7m; sidewalk 2x6m.
Urban main road grade, design speed 80km/h. The investor is Dan Phuong District People's Committee. Dan Phuong District Construction Investment Project Management Board is the investor's representative.
The project has a total investment of nearly 1,300 billion VND, using Hanoi city budget. Implementation period is in the period 2021-2025.
According to the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district, the completed project, along with the sections on the Tay Thang Long axis road, has been and is being invested in to create a vital and smooth route connecting the West Lake area to Dan Phuong district, connecting inter-regional traffic.
The route also connects with the planned routes of the city and Dan Phuong district that have been invested in to reduce the load on National Highway 32, facilitate people's travel as well as promote socio-economic development, gradually completing the construction of traffic infrastructure according to the general planning of the capital.
