On December 28, the Traffic Police Department (Hanoi City Police) said that it is coordinating with Thuong Tin District Police to investigate and clarify the case of a victim who died in a collision with a North-South train.
At around 9:00 p.m. on December 27, at the Do Xa - Minh Cuong intersection, Thuong Tin district, Hanoi, an accident occurred between the North - South Thong Nhat train and a young man.
According to initial information, Mr. Bui Quang H (born in 2007, Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province) violated traffic laws and was handled by the authorities. After working with the task force, Mr. H called someone and walked towards the railway along the old National Highway 1A.
At that moment, the Thong Nhat train running from North to South passed by. Mr. H was careless and stood close to the tracks, causing a collision with the train moving at high speed. Immediately after, Mr. H was taken to the emergency room and died at the hospital.
The cause of the incident is under further investigation by the police.
