    Lam Dong - A fishing boat collided with a small boat carrying 6 people at the sea gate of Hai Tan village, Phan Ri Cua commune, causing one person to go missing and die later.

    Initial information, at about 2:50 am on September 12, fishing vessel BTh-99632-TS, 16.4m long, 572CV capacity, captained by Mr. D. T (born 1981, residing in Minh Tan 2 village, Phan Ri Cua commune), collided with a small boat carrying 6 people at the sea gate of Hai Tan village.

    After the collision, the fishing boat organized a rescue and brought 5 people onto the boat. Mr. V.V.D (born 1994, residing in Hai Tan village) went missing.

    Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 7 dispatched 1 specialized vehicle and 7 officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinating with Phan Ri Cua Commune Police and Hoa Minh Border Guard Station to organize the search for the victim.

    At about 9:40 am on the same day, functional forces found the body of Mr. V.V.D and handed it over to functional agencies and family for funeral arrangements.

    Currently, functional forces are continuing to clarify the cause of the collision.
