On the morning of June 22, the rescue of a truck that plunged into a ravine at Km46 National Highway 28B through Phan Son commune (Lam Dong province) is still being implemented.
According to initial information, the incident occurred on the evening of June 21st in the 4th elevated bridge area. At this time, the truck was traveling in the direction from Da Lat to Phan Thiet. When it reached the above location, the vehicle encountered an accident and plunged into a pass abyss.
At the scene, the truck overturned in a deep abyss about 30m from the road surface. Many goods on the truck bed were thrown into the surrounding area.
Because the vehicle has a large tonnage and is located in a deep abyss, the crane removal work encountered many difficulties.
On the evening of June 21, Phan Son Commune Police were present to protect the scene and regulate traffic through the area. Traffic police forces also deployed to handle the incident.
Information from the police said that the accident did not cause any casualties.
National Highway 28B is currently being renovated and upgraded. On the route, some sections have completed asphalt paving, while many other locations are still constructing viaducts and related items.
