This is an activity to equip and promptly update the Vietnam Fatherland Front cadres at all levels with the necessary knowledge, legal regulations and professional skills in election work; grasp the role, functions and tasks of the Front in the entire process of electing deputies to the 16th National Assembly and electing People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
At the same time, it improves the capacity to organize elections in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies, and the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh emphasized that in the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front plays a particularly important role, being a bridge between the Party, State and people, directly participating in and implementing many contents throughout the entire election process.
Therefore, the Front cadres at all levels need to uphold their sense of responsibility, proactively research, grasp the provisions of the law, and provide professional guidance to organize and implement the process correctly, within their authority, ensuring democracy, publicity, and transparency.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city requested the Front of communes and wards to strengthen coordination, information exchange, promptly reflect difficulties and problems arising in the process of preparing and organizing elections to receive guidance, resolution, and avoid confusion in implementation.
At the same time, it is necessary to proactively develop a plan, assign specific tasks, promote the role of each member, ensure full implementation of the contents assigned by the Front according to the Law on Election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies, the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and related guiding documents.
