    Agribank unexpectedly increased interest rates today (October 16). Currently, Agribank's interest rates are 2.2 - 4.8%/year. Depositing 500 million at Agribank, customers will receive interest of up to 72 million VND.

    According to Lao Dong, on October 16, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) issued a new online deposit interest rate schedule as follows:

    Interest Rate for 1-month term deposits increased by 0.1 percentage point, at 2.2%/year.

    Interest Rate for 3-month term deposits increased by 0.1 percentage point, at 2.7%/year.

    Interest Rate for 6-9 month term deposits is 3.2%/year.

    Interest Rate for 12-month term deposits is 4.7%/year.

    Interest Rate for 24-36 month term deposits is 4.8%/year.
