The event marks a new step in the development of Vietnam's insurance industry in the context of a rapidly changing and increasingly complex global risk structure. The program was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Finance, representatives of the Vietnam Insurance Association, strategic shareholders and the Board of Directors of Alpha Reinsurance Joint Stock Company.
Speaking at the event, a representative of the Ministry of Finance Leader emphasized: "The Ministry of Finance encourages businesses in the industry to promote the application of information technology, promote digital transformation, improve risk management capacity according to international standards, thereby contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of the Vietnamese insurance market in the region and in the world.

In more than 30 years since Decree 100-CP on insurance business was issued in 1993, the Vietnamese insurance market entered a period of strong development with the birth of many insurance companies. In that process, the reinsurance sector alone recorded three milestones: VinaRe (1994), PVIRe - now Hanoi Re (2011) and by 2025 AlphaRe. Established in the next stage of the industry development process, AlphaRe does not position itself as a mere newcomer, but is a conscious continuation of the industry history, inheriting the foundation of accumulated experience and knowledge, and at the same time aiming for the role of "author".
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Mr. Le Hoai Nam - Member of the Board of Directors cum General Director of AlphaRe - said:
The world is facing many changes that require new approaches in risk appraisal and management. From that reality, AlphaRe chooses artificial intelligence (AI) as the'heart' of all decisions in professional operations. However, technology is only truly meaningful when built on a foundation of local knowledge and experience. Therefore, AlphaRe focuses on digitizing and systematizing the accumulated experience of the Vietnamese insurance market, developing AI models based on data, practice and the risk approach of Vietnamese people.
Technology is not intended to replace humans, but is used to expand and improve the professional capacity of Vietnamese experts, thereby retaining knowledge, added value and core capacity for the domestic market," Mr. Nam emphasized further.

AlphaRe focuses on digitizing knowledge and accumulated experience of the Vietnamese insurance market, while developing and training AI models based on data, practice and risk context in Vietnam.
On that basis, AlphaRe was formed from the synergy of three platforms: taking Vietnamese experience and bravery as the foundation, taking artificial intelligence as the driving force, and taking international management - operation standards as a reference system.
These three pillars complement and amplify each other, shaping a new model that puts Vietnamese people and Vietnamese intelligence at the center, while operating according to international standards.

AlphaRe's long-term goal is not only to improve the analytical and risk management capacity for the domestic market, but also to contribute to preserving knowledge, developing high-quality human resources and enhancing the role of Vietnamese people in the value chain of the insurance industry.
The company does not pursue the goal of growth at all costs, but focuses on professional discipline, operating standards and long-term risk management. This is considered the foundation for building a sustainable reinsurance business, suitable to the increasing demands of the domestic and international markets.
The birth of AlphaRe opens up a new approach in Vietnam - where technology is applied to enhance human capacity, contributing to strengthening the internal strength of the Vietnamese insurance market in the new development stage.
