Techcombank increased interest rates today
According to Lao Dong, on September 6, Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) announced a new interest rate schedule, slightly increasing for one term.
Techcombank's online deposit interest rates are currently listed as follows:
1-month term interest rate is at 3.25-3.45%/year.
3-month term interest rate is at 3.45-3.65%/year.
Interest rates for 6-9 month terms increased by 0.1 percentage points, to 4.55-4.65%/year.
Interest rates for terms greater than 12 months are at 4.95-5.05%/year.
Techcombank's counter deposit interest rate table recorded similar changes, currently listed as follows:
1-month term interest rate is at 3.15-3.35%/year.
3-month term interest rate is at 3.35-3.55%/year.
Interest rate for 6-9 month term is at 4.45-4.55%/year.
Interest rates for terms greater than 12 months are at 4.85-4.95%/year.

According to Lao Dong, after banks increased interest rates in September, the interest rate rankings recorded strong fluctuations.
At the 1-month term, the highest deposit interest rate currently belongs to SeABank with an interest rate of 3.95%/year.
At the 3-month term, the highest interest rate is 4.3%/year currently listed by Eximbank.
At the 6-month term, CBBank jumped to the top with an interest rate of 5.55%/year.
At 9-month term, the highest interest rate is 5.55%/year at NCB.
At the 12-month term, the top 5 listed banks at this term include BaoVietBank, BVBank, BacABank, Dong A Bank and Saigonbank.
