Of which, coffee leads with an export turnover of more than 900 million USD. In the 2023-2024 crop year, Dak Lak exported 264,404 tons of coffee, down 54,095 tons compared to the previous crop year, accounting for 17.9% of the country's output.
Although the volume decreased, coffee export turnover reached 915.8 million USD, an increase of 168.2 million USD thanks to the sharp increase in coffee prices.
Exports of green coffee reached 783.9 million USD, up 24.5%. Instant coffee reached 131.9 million USD, accounting for 14.4% of total turnover, up 14.2 million USD compared to the previous crop.
Dak Lak coffee, famous for its robusta and arabica beans, is exported to major markets such as the EU, the US, and Japan. The coffee industry not only creates a stable income for farmers but also boosts the local and national economy.

In December 2024, in Dak Lak province, a business exported a 20-foot container containing 18,000 packages of finished roasted and ground coffee to the US market.
Mr. Hoang Danh Huu - Director of EDE Farm Trading and Service Company Limited - said: "This is a complete coffee product, packaged in Vietnam, not raw coffee or processed labeling."
According to Mr. Huu, coffee is processed according to a high-quality fermentation process, with a production line certified by the US FDA.
Coffee ingredients come from sustainable farming areas that do not encroach on natural forests (EUDR certified).
