Regarding the fire that occurred at the "singing to each other" cafe on Pham Van Dong Street, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi, 4 victims (2 men and 2 women) were taken to E Hospital for emergency treatment in a state of panic, with many scratches and minor skin burns.
The victims were taken to the hospital and given first aid, X-rays and tests. They are currently being treated at the emergency room of Hospital E and are in stable condition.
Sharing information about the incident, Director of E Hospital Nguyen Cong Huu said: Of the 4 patients brought in, 2 have been transferred to the special resuscitation area. These two patients have signs of difficulty breathing, suspected of CO2 poisoning and are being examined to determine whether they have respiratory burns.
Initial test results and imaging showed lung damage but the extent was not too severe. However, to ensure safety, the doctors consulted with experts and decided to actively treat with machinery in the special resuscitation area.
The other two patients are in the emergency department in less serious condition. One has minor burns to the eye area and the other has only superficial abrasions.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, one of the first victims rescued in the fire, said: "Our group of 5 people had just come in to drink water for about 5-10 minutes when we heard shouts of fire. According to my observation, there were about 5 tables in the restaurant, each table had about 5 people."
