Vung Ang Port welcomes 54,000-ton ship on New Year's Day

    Ha Tinh - On February 1 (the 4th day of Tet), Vung Ang Port welcomed a 54,000-ton cargo ship to dock to receive wood chips.

    The ALBANY PIONEER ship (Japanese nationality) is the first ship to dock at Vung Ang port in early 2025 to receive and load about 50,000 tons of wood chips for export to Japan.

    This is the first ship of the year of the Snake, so the leaders of Ha Tinh Minerals and Trading Corporation and Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company were present to welcome the ship and wish the staff and workers a happy new year.

    At the same time, request Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company to quickly mobilize human resources and means to deploy the reception work, carry out procedures to load and unload goods to ensure safety and urgency.

    In 2025, Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company aims to reach 5.5 million tons of cargo throughput through the port, with revenue reaching over 200 billion VND.
