Grassroots tax authorities in 11 Gia Lai provinces have just issued a series of decisions to enforce administrative decisions on tax management against many businesses and cooperatives with overdue tax debts.
According to the decisions signed on June 10, 2026, the tax authority applies coercive measures in the form of freezing the accounts of taxpayers at the State Treasury and credit institutions.
To implement this measure, Gia Lai Provincial Tax Department has requested a number of banks including Agribank, BIDV, VPBank, LPBank, MB, OCB, VietinBank... to coordinate to freeze accounts in the names of organizations subject to coercion.
List of enterprises and cooperatives subject to coercive measures as follows:

According to the content of the decisions, the reason for coercion is that the taxpayer still owes tax money for more than 90 days from the expiration date of the deadline according to regulations.
At the same time, the tax authority also requires banks to deduct money directly from taxpayers' accounts to deposit into the State budget.
In case the balance on the account is not sufficient to pay the entire debt at the time of enforcement, credit institutions must still continue to monitor the taxpayer's account. When a new balance arises during the time the enforcement decision is still valid, the bank will continue to deduct and transfer the corresponding amount to fulfill tax obligations according to regulations.
Enforcement decisions have a validity period of 30 days from the date of promulgation. During this time, enterprises and cooperatives named in the list must strictly comply with the requirements of the tax authorities.
Relevant banks are responsible for coordinating to implement the freezing of accounts and deduction of money transfers in accordance with the content of the coercive decision.
