Taking DNA samples from 101 unidentified martyrs' graves in Dong Nai

Dong Nai - Phuoc Long Ward will take samples from 101 martyrs' graves for DNA testing to determine the identity of martyrs' remains.

On June 16, Phuoc Long Ward People's Committee (Dong Nai City) said that the locality is implementing a plan to organize sample collection and hand over samples of martyrs' remains for graves that have not been identified with information from Steering Committee 515 of Dong Nai City.

Currently, Phuoc Long Ward People's Committee has proactively prepared the necessary conditions to ensure that the task is carried out in accordance with regulations, solemnly and effectively.

According to the plan, the sampling of martyrs' remains will be carried out from June 17 to June 22, at Phuoc Long Ward Martyrs' Cemetery. In this phase, the locality will take samples for 101 martyrs' graves that have not been identified for DNA testing and identifying martyrs' remains.

According to Phuoc Long Ward People's Committee, the results of the program will meet the legitimate aspirations of martyrs' relatives; and at the same time educate patriotism and deep gratitude to generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the cause of national defense.
