On May 8, the People's Council of Gia Lai province issued Decision No. 629/QD-BKTNS on the establishment of a Supervisory Team to implement the recommendations of the State Audit (SA) stated in the 2023 Local Budget settlement audit report.
According to the plan, the supervision activities will take place in May 2025 and end when the Youth Union completes its tasks. The supervision content focuses on the implementation and handling of state budget recommendations for audited agencies, units and related organizations and individuals.
The delegation will conduct direct supervision at the Department of Finance and the Department of Agriculture and Environment; at the same time, conduct supervision through reporting to the Provincial People's Committee and the Tax Department of Region XIV. If necessary, the delegation will conduct field surveys in some localities.
The monitoring delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phuong, Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Economic - Budget Committee; Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Council's Economic - Budget Committee, Deputy Head of the delegation.
The delegation members include delegates of the Provincial People's Council, representatives of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of relevant departments, branches and related units and localities.
The establishment of the Supervisory Team aims to ensure that the recommendations of the State Audit are seriously implemented, contributing to improving the effectiveness of public financial management and local budget transparency.
