Retail gasoline and oil prices today (May 12) at the Vietnam National Group of Industry - Energy (PVOIL) system continue to be kept stable according to the adjustment from 3 pm on May 7 of the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance:

According to PVOIL's latest price list, RON 95-III gasoline is currently sold at 24,350 VND/liter, an increase of 600 VND/liter compared to the previous operating period. This continues to be the gasoline item with the highest price in the popular retail market today.
Meanwhile, E10 RON 95-III gasoline increased by 540 VND/liter, currently anchored at 23,730 VND/liter. Notably, E5 RON 92-II gasoline recorded the strongest increase when increasing by 1,170 VND/liter, to 23,790 VND/liter.
In the opposite direction, the oil group continued to be adjusted down. Specifically, DO 0.05S-II oil decreased by 680 VND/liter to 27,490 VND/liter. DO 0.001S-V oil also decreased by 680 VND/liter, currently listed at 28,750 VND/liter.
According to records, the retail price level at PVOIL is currently equivalent to many large key enterprises such as Petrolimex and MIPEC in key commodities. This shows that the domestic gasoline and oil market is entering a more stable phase after a strong fluctuation in early May.
This adjustment reflects the direct impact of world oil prices as the global energy market continuously fluctuates amid concerns about supply and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
In the context of international oil prices still maintaining at a high level, the domestic market is forecast to continue to be under pressure to fluctuate in the next operating periods if the upward trend of global energy prices has not cooled down.
