World gasoline price today
World petroleum prices today decreased simultaneously. At 11h46, WTI crude oil at 61.29 USD/barrel, down 0.04 USD/barrel, equivalent to 0.07%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session for $ 61.38/barrel, opened today for 61.52 USD/barrel.
Brent oil at 64.63 USD/barrel, down 0.04 USD/barrel, equivalent to 0.06%. Brent oil closed the previous session for 64.67 USD/barrel and opened today with 64.88 USD/barrel.
Thus, world gasoline prices turned down after increasing slightly yesterday morning. Closing the session of 15.4, Brent oil and WTI oil both recorded a 0.3%reduction, the decline continued to maintain this morning.
Domestic gasoline price today
On April 16, the retail gasoline price according to the published price list of Petrolimex in Region 1 and Region 2 (46 provinces are applying) as follows:
The retail price of domestic petrol and oil has been adjusted by the Ministry of Finance and Industry and Trade at the afternoon operating period 10.4.2025. Accordingly, petrol price simultaneously decreased sharply.
RON 95-III gasoline price decreased by VND 1,712/liter, E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND 1,491/liter. Among the most reduced oil and kerosene items, VND 1,322/liter, followed by diesel oil decreased by VND 1,235/liter and mazut oil decreased by VND 1,124/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline price
According to a representative of a petrol and oil business, the domestic petroleum price will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to the current development, forecasting in the next period of operating the price, the retail price of petrol and oil may continue to decrease.
In particular, the price of RON 95 gasoline can be reduced by about 350-400 VND/liter; E5 gasoline can be reduced by about 400-450 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreased by about 200-250 VND/liter.
