According to initial information, at about 4 pm on July 22, people heard many crackling explosions coming from an apartment on the 19th floor of CT2B building, Gelexia Riverside apartment building (Tam Trinh street, Hoang Mai).
A moment later, smoke and fire began to rise outside the apartment balcony, clearly visible from below the road. Discovering the fire, many residents quickly moved down the stairs to a safe area.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force, along with the Hoang Mai Ward Police and local security forces, quickly arrived at the scene to deploy firefighting operations. A witness said that at that time there were no people in the house.
At about 5 pm, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished. The outside of the 19th floor and upper floor apartments was covered in black smoke.
Currently, functional agencies are sealing off the scene, investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire.
