World oil price today
World oil prices today fell sharply. At 10:27, WTI crude oil was at 69.83 USD/barrel, down 0.59 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.98%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 60.42 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 60.18 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 62.69 USD/barrel, down 0.61 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.96%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 62.28 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.01 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices are on a sharp decline. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 29), WTI and Brent oil prices decreased by 2.6% and 2.4%, respectively. The decline continued in this morning's session. Both oil products recorded their lowest closures in about 3 weeks.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On April 30, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of April 24, 2025. Accordingly, gasoline products have increased in price. E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by 740 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline increased by 782 VND/liter, diesel increased by 487 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 531 VND/liter and mazut increased by 564 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase.
In particular, RON 95 gasoline price may increase by about 100-250 VND/liter; E5 gasoline may increase by about 0-200 VND/liter; Diesel oil increases by about 0-100 VND/liter.
According to the notice from the Ministry of Industry and Trade on adjusting the time of operating the petrol price on the occasion of the holidays 30.4–1.5.2025, due to the period of periodic price operating (Thursday) coincides with the International Labor Holiday, the next operating period will be back to the first working day after the ceremony, ie Monday, 5.525.
