World oil price today
At the end of a trading week, WTI crude oil was at 64.68 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 63.02 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI crude oil decreased by 1.66 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.6% compared to last week.
Brent oil was at 67.96 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 66.87 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil decreased by 1.09 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.6% compared to last week.
Thus, after a strong price increase last week, world oil prices this week turned slightly down.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On April 27, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of April 24, 2025. Accordingly, gasoline products have increased in price. E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by 740 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline increased by 782 VND/liter, diesel increased by 487 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 531 VND/liter and mazut increased by 564 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase.
In particular, RON 95 gasoline price may increase by about 100-250 VND/liter; E5 gasoline may increase by about 200 VND/liter; Diesel oil increases by about 100 VND/liter.
