Tax Department informs about penalties for household businesses under 500 million using electronic invoices
The Tax Department said that according to Decree 70/2025/ND-CP and Decree 68/2026/ND-CP, business households with revenue of 1 billion VND/year or more are required to use electronic invoices, while the group with revenue of 500 million VND/year or less is not compulsory. However, the law also does not prohibit these households from using electronic invoices if they have legal needs.

Faced with the fact that some localities have requested low-revenue business households to stop using electronic invoices, the Tax Department has issued a document to rectify and affirm that it is not allowed to request stopping if households are using legally. These households are allowed to continue using normally and do not need to carry out additional procedures with tax authorities.
The Tax Department also requests localities to review notices and decisions on penalties or inappropriate guidance to promptly adjust and ensure the rights of taxpayers. At the same time, this agency is summarizing problems to improve policies in the direction of creating favorable conditions, encouraging transparency and unity in tax management. See more...

The recent decrease in gasoline and oil prices has helped the general level of commodity prices in Ho Chi Minh City show signs of cooling down, especially in essential items such as vegetables, meat, and eggs. However, the price reduction has not taken place evenly. Many items are only sideways, while some dining services have not yet adjusted down according to input costs. Faced with weak purchasing power, supermarkets and retail businesses are promoting strongly, keeping prices to stimulate demand, and optimizing costs to maintain operations.
On the side of manufacturing enterprises and small traders, the general trend is to proactively maintain prices to stabilize output and retain customers. Thanks to price stabilization programs and the participation of businesses, the commodity market in Ho Chi Minh City is gradually stabilizing, contributing to controlling inflation and supporting consumer recovery.
