Bank interest rates today July 23: Four banks above the 8% mark

ABBank's quoted interest rate is at the highest level, up to 9.65%, applicable to cases of opening/renewing 13-month term savings deposits with a deposit amount of less than 1,500 billion VND.

Ranked 2nd is PVcomBank, the 12-month term interest rate is listed at 9.5%/year with a minimum deposit of 2,000 billion VND.

Next is HDBank with quite high interest rates, 8.1%/year for a 13-month term and 7.7% for a 12-month term, with the condition of maintaining a minimum balance of 500 billion VND. This bank also applies an interest rate of 6% for an 18-month term.

MSB also applies quite high interest rates with deposit interest rates at bank counters up to 8%/year for a 13-month term and 7% for a 12-month term. Applicable conditions are newly opened savings books or savings books opened from January 1, 2018 that automatically renew with deposit terms of 12 months, 13 months and deposit amount from 500 billion VND.

Dong A Bank has a deposit interest rate with a term of 13 months or more, and the interest rate at the end of the term for a deposit of 200 billion VND or more applies at an interest rate of 7.5%/year.

NCB, VRB and OceanBank apply an interest rate of 6.1% for a 24-month term; OCB applies an interest rate of 6% for a 36-month term; ABBank applies an interest rate of 6% for a 12-month term; BVBank and Cake by VPBank also apply interest rates of 6%, terms of 24 months and 12 months.

For a 24-month term, the highest bank interest rate is 6.1% for NCB and OceanBank. The lowest interest rate is 3.9% and SCB. The difference between the highest and lowest interest rates for the 24-month term is 2.2%.
