An Phat Holdings Corporation (code: APH) has just announced that Mr. Pham Anh Duong - Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) resigned from both the position of Chairman and Member of the BOD from September 6, the reason given was that due to personal work, he could not continue to undertake the task in the near future.
An Phat Holdings' Board of Directors decided that Mr. Duong will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors until the General Meeting of Shareholders approves the dismissal of the Board of Directors member position and elects a replacement.
Loc Troi Group (code: LTG) has also just accepted the resignation of Mr. Tieu Phuoc Thanh from the position of Member of the Board of Supervisors from September 6. Around mid-July 2024, the Board of Directors of Loc Troi also decided to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuan from the position of General Director. From 2019 to present, Mr. Thuan has worked at Loc Troi Group and does not own shares of the company.
Previously, on July 10, Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (code: DHG) also accepted the resignation of Mr. Doan Dinh Duy Khuong as a member of the Board of Directors and CEO. Two other leaders of Hau Giang Pharmaceutical, Ms. Vu Thi Huong Lan - Human Resources Director and Ms. Le Thi Hong Nhung - Finance Director, also resigned for personal reasons.
Notably, the wave of resignations of senior leaders is taking place strongly in the real estate business group, in the context of the market having just gone through the most difficult period and still facing many challenges ahead.
At Vinaconex, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh resigned from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation (Vinaconex, code: VCG) due to his personal wishes and old age. Accordingly, the Board of Directors dismissed Mr. Thanh from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors from July 26.
Mr. Thanh has held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vinaconex since 2019. Although he has withdrawn from the Board of Directors, Mr. Thanh will move to a new position as Chairman of the Strategy Council.
Mr. Luong Tri Thin also asked to resign from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dat Xanh Group (code: DXG) and was approved in early July. Leaving the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Thin also took on a new position as Chairman of the Strategic Council of Dat Xanh Group.
Similarly, at the end of July, Ha Do Group Corporation (HoSE: HDG) also received a resignation letter from the position of Chairman of Mr. Nguyen Trong Thong (born in 1953), the founder and operator of the group from the 90s to the present.
Mr. Thong said that due to his age, health and to ensure compliance with the law on related persons, he would like to resign from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and also not participate in the company's Board of Directors. However, Mr. Thong can continue to support and advise on the activities of the Board of Directors after the transfer in the role of "Founding Chairman".
A series of other businesses such as Fecon, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical, Thuduc House, Hai Phat Invest, An Gia Real Estate, TTC Land, Song Da 11... also massively changed senior leaders.
