On September 16, information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, the province has just added 2 industrial park (IP) projects to the List of projects to attract investment in the area in the period 2026–2030.
The first project is Minh Quan Industrial Park (extended part), implemented on a scale of 52.11 ha, with a total estimated investment of 500 billion VND.
The second project is Luc Yen Industrial Park with a scale of 221 ha, with a total estimated investment of 2,000 billion VND.
Thus, the 2 additional projects have a total area of 273.11 ha, with a total estimated investment capital of 2,500 billion VND.
According to the decision, the Department of Finance is assigned to publicly announce the list of projects on the Provincial Electronic Information Portal and the press; acting as a focal point to guide investors to register for project implementation.
This agency is also responsible for periodically updating, proposing adjustments to the list and reporting investment attraction results to the Provincial People's Committee.

The Management Board of Industrial Parks has the task of introducing and calling for investment; directly monitoring and supporting businesses in the process of surveying, researching and implementing projects.
People's Committees of Au Lau, Luc Yen and Tan Linh communes and wards are assigned to support investors in the area; review and update projects into commune-level general planning, ensuring synchronization and avoiding overlap.
The Investment, Trade and Business Promotion Center is responsible for developing a set of investment promotion documents for the province; proactively consulting and supporting investors to access projects promptly and in accordance with regulations.
