VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park Project (VSIP IZ) has a total investment of more than 6,300 billion VND, this is the IZ with the largest investment scale in the province. The investor is Vietnam Singapore Urban and Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company.
Deployed on an area of about 600 hectares located in two communes: Ho Son and Hoa Thang of Huu Lung district. With a prime location, close to the Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway, National Highway 1A.
The project started in June 2024, and is planned to be divided into 3 phases. Phase 1 will be completed and put into operation in the third quarter of 2025, phase 2 will be completed in September 2026, and phase 3 will be completed in September 2027.
After completing all 3 phases, VSIP Industrial Park is expected to earn about 2.5 billion USD for the state budget and create jobs for over 40,000 workers.
According to PV's records at the beginning of February 2025, VSIP Industrial Park project is in the stage of leveling and creating land.
At the construction site, machinery and mechanical equipment have been gathered and ready for workers to deploy and start construction right after the holiday.
Outside, the 193 billion VND road connecting the Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway intersection is basically completed, the road surface is paved with asphalt.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Huu Lung), currently working at Diem Thuy Industrial Park (Thai Nguyen) often has to be away from home for long periods of time. When he learned that the locality was developing an industrial park, he was very happy and hoped that the project would be completed soon.
"Many local people have to go to other provinces to find work, far from home and family, especially female workers.
When this industrial park is completed, I am sure it will create many jobs, people working far away can return and work in their hometown," Mr. Khanh shared.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thang - Vice Chairman of Huu Lung District People's Committee said that currently, the project is being implemented in phase 1, clearing 80/200ha, reaching 40%.
When the industrial park comes into operation, it will help increase the value of industrial production and export of goods of the province. At the same time, it will create jobs and income for local workers, thereby helping the province develop its economy quickly and sustainably.
