Mr. H. currently lives in Dong Nai province and has participated in buying Vietlott lottery since the early days. Every day, he regularly buys 4-5 tickets through sales points and phone applications. His habit is to let the system choose numbers themselves, or occasionally combine the family's birthday when the Jackpot increases. The winning ticket worth 71.8 billion this time is a random number set selected by the system.
Notably, data from Vietlott shows that, just on the phone channel alone, Mr. H. has won 1,103 times Vietlott lottery tickets, including the first prize of Power 6/55 and Mega 6/45 before.
He recounted that because he won prizes too many times, when he received a message reporting he had won this prize, he only thought it was a small prize. When Vietlott representatives called to confirm, he and his wife really believed they had won the Jackpot.
Social responsibility after winning Vietlott lottery
Right at the award ceremony, Mr. H. decided to deduct 600 million VND from the prize money to support the Tam Tai Viet Social Fund. This amount will be used for social security activities.
At the same time, according to regulations, Mr. H. has fulfilled his obligation to pay more than 7.1 billion VND of personal income tax (directly deducting 10% of the portion exceeding 20 million VND) into the budget of Quang Tri province, where he registered to participate in the prize.
