In addition, pork prices have decreased slightly but are still quite high, so consumers tend to switch to other food items to replace them such as chicken, duck, fish, etc.
Meanwhile, it is noted that at traditional markets in Can Tho city such as Tan An, O Mon... pork prices remained stable, not much affected by the slight decrease in pork prices. Accordingly, pork is priced from 120,000 - 140,000 VND/kg, lean and lean meat ranges from 130,000 - 150,000 VND/kg, pork belly is priced from 130,000 - 150,000 VND/kg, pork thigh is priced from 110,000 - 120,000 VND/kg, young ribs are priced at 160,000 - 180,000 VND/kg...
Traders Nguyen Thi Tu shared that compared to 3 months ago, pork products such as young ribs, pork belly, and pork belly have decreased by 7,000 - 10,000 VND/kg. However, pork prices are still high, leading to an improvement in demand for pork but not much.
