In particular, Hanoi, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang are the localities that buy live pigs at the price of 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining 68,000 VND/kg price is traded in Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh provinces.
In the Central - Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs still fluctuates between 68,000 - 73,000 VND/kg. Of which, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan are the two provinces with the highest price of live pigs in the region at 73,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Hue City and Ha Tinh and Quang Tri provinces are the 3 trading areas at 68,000 VND/kg.
The Southern region is still the place with the highest price of pigs and there is a difference between the regions of the country, ranging from 70,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.
In particular, the price of live pigs today in the Dong Thap area decreased by VND 1,000/kg, down to VND 71,000/kg. In Kien Giang and Tra Vinh areas, the price of live pigs today also decreased by VND 1,000/kg, down to VND 72,000/kg. In Ben Tre area, the price of live pigs decreased by 2,000 VND/kg to 70,000 VND/kg.
Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Ca Mau traded at the highest price in the country of 74,000.
