After document No. 7125/NHNN-TD of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) sent to commercial banks and SBV branches in the regions on proactively and synchronously implementing solutions to support capital sources, lending interest rates and credit access conditions, National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) has just implemented a policy of reducing 0.5%/year lending interest rates for all loan packages for individual and corporate customers.
Accordingly, for individual customers, the new preferential interest rate is applied to many loan needs such as mortgages, production - business, buying individual houses and consumption with collateral.
The interest rate after adjustment is only from 8.49%/year, contributing to reducing financial cost pressure and creating more room for customers to implement production, business, and consumption plans.
Meanwhile, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are applied a simultaneous reduction of 0.5%/year for all loan terms. Short-term interest rates from 10%/year in the first 3 months are competitive compared to joint-stock commercial banks in the market.
NCB prioritizes capital financing at preferential interest rates for green projects, digital economy, construction and installation enterprises, construction material suppliers, especially enterprises participating in the national key project chain.
For large-scale businesses operating in chains/ecosystems, NCB also applies a 0.5%/year interest rate reduction, with the lowest level from 10.45%/year, accompanying businesses to implement large-scale infrastructure projects, especially key national projects.
Reducing capital costs is also expected to help businesses be more proactive in financial resources, maintain and expand production and business, improve project implementation capacity and participate more deeply in value chains.
A representative of NCB said: "The interest rate adjustment is one of the solutions NCB proactively implements to unlock resources for customers, especially the business community, in the context of strong economic growth. NCB aims to provide capital sources accurately, accurately, and promptly, contributing to promoting production - business and rapid, strong, and sustainable economic growth".
In addition to pioneering and modern digital banking solutions, NCB continuously develops diverse credit programs for businesses, meeting from working capital needs, production - business, expanded investment to specific fields such as production, export, public capital projects, ODA and security, defense.
The policy is implemented by NCB in the context that the banking industry is continuing to implement solutions to support capital sources, interest rates and credit access, thereby contributing to unlocking resources for production and business and supporting economic growth goals.
