On June 16, according to the Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management Department (QLTT), Market Management Team No. 7 has just coordinated with Nam Minh Commune Police to conduct a surprise inspection of the compliance with the law in the business of goods and services for the footwear business establishment of all kinds owned by Mr. N.V.T, located in Nam Minh commune.
At the time of inspection, the facility owner could not present a business household registration certificate as prescribed. During the actual inspection, the inspection team discovered more than 400 pairs of sports shoes of all kinds showing signs of counterfeiting famous brands that have been protected such as Adidas, Nike, Asics. The total value of the violating goods is more than 94 million VND.
Notably, the facility owner could not present invoices and legal documents proving the origin and origin of goods as well as documents related to trading activities for all of the above-mentioned goods.
After the process of verification, collection of documents, evidence and completion of the case file, the Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management Department issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against the above-mentioned business establishment with a total fine of more than 77 million VND. At the same time, applying remedial measures according to regulations.
On June 15, all violating goods, which were fake brand sports shoes, were organized for destruction under the supervision of functional agencies.
