According to the decision, the project to upgrade the Chanh River boat harbor located in Tay Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province is a level III Agriculture and Rural Development project; level IV traffic project. The total investment of the project is 120 billion VND.
The decision clearly states that the approved design, the project will carry out dredging and clearing of the upstream channel with a length of about 100m, a bottom elevation of -2.65m. The upstream and downstream roof protection embankment system is built of cement mortar stone combined with bamboo piles to enhance erosion resistance.
For the wharf item, the project will build a new iron-reinforced concrete wharf head with an 8m wide door compartment. The valve door system is made of flat steel, operated by modern hydraulic winches; and at the same time, dredging the 100m long wharf compartment to ensure conditions for ship traffic.

Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 to preside over the project implementation; and at the same time review, calculate and select the cross-section scale of managed roads suitable to actual exploitation needs. During the construction process, the investor needs to study appropriate foundation treatment solutions, maximize excavated soil resources to improve investment efficiency and save costs.
At the same time, assigning the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Finance and relevant agencies and units to strengthen inspection, guidance, advise on balancing and arranging capital sources in a timely manner, ensuring that the project is implemented and completed according to the approved schedule.
