Vietlott has just organized the awarding ceremony of the Lotto 5/35 quick draw lottery jackpot (QSMT) No. 00820. The prize value awarded is 11,331,407,000 VND (unless deducting personal income tax).
Through cross-checking on the self-selected lottery business data system and accompanying personal records, a source from Vietlott identified the winner as Mr. D. T. N. This lucky ticket was issued at sales point No. 705 Kinh Duong Vuong, An Lac Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.
From 50,000 VND surplus to billion-VND Vietlott lottery
Mr. D. T. N currently lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City. He has a habit of buying Vietlott lottery products with large prizes such as Mega 6/45, Power 6/55 and occasionally participates in Lotto 5/35.
Sharing about his lottery winning journey, Mr. N. recounted: "As usual, my husband and I stopped at the point of sale just to buy Mega 6/45 lottery tickets. According to current regulations, Mr. D. T. N is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of registration to participate in the prize, which is Ho Chi Minh City.
With a tax rate of 10% for the portion of value exceeding 20 million VND, the amount of tax paid to the budget is more than 1.1 billion VND. This tax has been deducted by Vietlott immediately when carrying out prize payment procedures.
