According to Circular No. 08/2026/TT-BKHCN dated March 31, 2026 of the Ministry of Science and Technology, verifying mobile subscriber information is a mandatory regulation to ensure the accuracy of mobile subscriber user data, and at the same time contribute to limiting junk SIMs and preventing high-tech fraud.
For users, this is an opportunity to proactively check the registered phone numbers according to their personal information through the VneID application, thereby promptly detecting subscribers who no longer use or are not under management and confirming officially used subscriber numbers, thereby protecting personal information security in the digital environment.
What do customers need to do to verify their subscription?
According to regulations, from April 15, 2026, all users nationwide will receive notifications on the VNeID application about the list of subscriber numbers being registered according to their personal information. Then users only need to access the application to confirm the phone numbers they are using or not using. Subscribers who are confirmed to be using will complete the authentication procedures according to regulations (for 12-digit CC/CCCD, users only need to confirm that they are using to complete, for 9-digit ID cards, after confirmation, they need to update the TTTB with 12-digit CC/CCCD).
With the philosophy of "customer is the center", VinaPhone has prepared many flexible support channels for customers throughout the subscriber information verification process. For cases of new subscriber registration, subscriber information change, end-to-end device change or data standardization, customers can perform biometric verification directly on the MyVNPT application or go to VinaPhone transaction points nationwide to receive direct support with a chip-based citizen identification card.
To verify subscriber information, customers need to have a level 2 VneID account or a CCCD with a CHIP, then choose 1 of the following 3 ways:
1. Access the VneID application on your mobile phone, customers press "Access function" on the home screen, enter the passcode and select the "Phone number" item.
2. Access the MyVNPT application and follow the instructions on the application. Details see at: https://digishop. vnpt. vn/tin-tuc-km/tu-van/huong-dan-xac-thuc-thong-tin-thue-bao-vinaphone-qua-vneid-va-cccd-gan-chip-theo-quy-dinh-moi-2026.
3. Go to the nearest VinaPhone Transaction Points, bring a chip-based CCCD or have a level 2 VNeID account for network operator support.

Support for overseas customers and specialized customer groups
VinaPhone customers who are abroad can verify subscriber information remotely through the MyVNPT application combined with a Chip-based citizen identification card, thereby completing procedures quickly, safely, conveniently without having to return home, and always maintaining smooth connection wherever they are.
Especially for the elderly, people who do not use smartphones, people in remote areas, border areas, islands or groups in need of special support, VinaPhone will coordinate with the commune-level police force to organize direct verification support at the place of residence. This is an effort to ensure that all customers can exercise their rights and obligations.
According to the roadmap, subscribers who have not completed verification, are not confirmed on VNeID or have information that does not match the National Population Database will be notified and processed step by step, from temporary suspension of one-way service to two-way service, towards revocation of numbers if information is not supplemented according to regulations.
VinaPhone recommends that customers proactively download and access the MyVNPT application, check on the VneID application, and verify subscriber information early to protect personal information in the digital environment and ensure continuous and safe service use.
