Valuable memorial space
From National Highway 39, turning in about 50m, the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan appears solemn and simple amidst the scenery of Van Noi village, Viet Tien commune (Hung Yen province). The project is built in traditional architecture, located in a campus of about 3,500m2, is a place to mark the merits of the industrious mother who gave birth to and raised President Ho Chi Minh.
Inaugurated in 2005, the Memorial House has a strong ancient architectural style, harmonizing with the rural space of the Northern Delta. This place is not only a spiritual destination but also a red address for people from all walks of life inside and outside the province to come to offer incense, commemorate, and express gratitude to the woman who silently sacrificed, contributing to creating a great personality for the nation.
Recently, Viet Tien commune organized a meeting with people to deploy the plan to expand the premises of the Memorial House and Temple of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

Here, local authorities provided specific information about the goals, scale and significance of the project, aiming to build a synchronous cultural and spiritual space, meeting the increasing living needs.
After being disseminated, the majority of people expressed their agreement and support for the policy. Many opinions believe that the expansion is not only necessary but also a right step to restore and promote the historical and cultural values of the relic.
Representatives of the commune government said that they will continue to listen to and absorb people's opinions to complete the plan, ensuring the implementation process is in accordance with regulations and receiving high consensus in the community.

Expecting a spacious religious space
According to records, currently more than 97.6% of households in Van Noi village agree with the plan to relocate Van Noi communal house and Hung Khanh pagoda out of the area of the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh's Mother to expand the relic space and religious activities.
Mr. Hoang Tuan Hai - Head of Van Noi village said that from the beginning, people were fully informed about the planning and objectives of the relocation. "Initially, some households were still hesitant, but after being explained clearly and specifically, the majority agreed and supported" - Mr. Hai shared.

According to Mr. Hai, keeping the communal house and pagoda in their current location is no longer appropriate, because this area has been identified as the memorial house and temple complex for Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan. The overlapping existence of many works not only affects the overall architecture but also limits the ability to expand and develop in the long term.
Sharing the same view, Mr. Vu Van Vung (56 years old) said that moving Van Noi communal house and Hung Khanh pagoda to a new, more spacious land area is completely reasonable.
The current space is already cramped, especially during holidays, Tet or death anniversaries, people come in large numbers, not enough space for activities. We want the new communal house and pagoda to be built spaciously, with enough space to organize festivals and community activities" - Mr. Vung said.

According to Viet Tien Commune People's Committee, the rearrangement of religious works not only serves immediate needs but also aims for sustainable development in the future. A synchronous and harmonious architectural space will contribute to enhancing the value of the entire relic site, while creating favorable conditions to attract tourists and develop cultural tourism.
Local authorities also identified this as a "golden opportunity" to invest in cultural infrastructure, creating a breakthrough in socio-economic development. Mobilizing socialized resources and calling for the joint efforts of organizations and individuals is being actively implemented.
With high consensus from the people, along with clear direction from the government, the people of Van Noi village expect that in the near future, the Memorial House and religious works will have a new, more spacious and airy appearance.
