GELEX has just officially provided information related to Mr. Dang Phan Tuong after he was prosecuted as a defendant during the investigation of a case occurring at the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT).
According to the business, Mr. Dang Phan Tuong's case arose from the period before he joined the management apparatus of GELEX Electric and member companies. Therefore, the case is not related to the operations of GELEX, GELEX Electric and companies in the system.
At GELEX Electric, Mr. Dang Phan Tuong holds the role of member of the Board of Directors and does not directly participate in daily business operations. The enterprise's production, business, financial management and cash flow are carried out by the operating apparatus according to the current governance mechanism. Therefore, according to GELEX, the incident related to Mr. Tuong personally did not affect or disrupt the enterprise's operations.

On September 14, the Board of Directors of GELEX Electric, CADIVI and THIBIDI issued a resolution on organizing a written shareholder consultation to approve the Resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders on the dismissal of Mr. Dang Phan Tuong from the position of member of the Board of Directors, because he no longer fully meets the standards and conditions of a member of the Board of Directors as prescribed.
GELEX said that, up to now, the business plans, financial and investment activities of the Group as well as member companies are still guaranteed and implemented according to plan.
