On August 9, the Department of Industry and Trade of Gia Lai province said that the unit is compiling statistics on the loan situation of enterprises with products exported to the US market, Europe, Japan, etc.
The enterprises mainly operate in the fields of wood production, garment, seafood and agriculture in the province.
The statistical content includes: loan types, current interest rates, received support policies, loan restructuring situation, as well as specific difficulties related to capital and debt extension.
Exporting enterprises are requested to clearly state their needs for loans and desired interest rates, as a basis for developing interest rate support and debt restructuring plans.

If necessary, the Provincial People's Committee will recommend the State Bank of Vietnam to consider and direct commercial banks and joint stock banks across the country to apply appropriate support policies, prioritizing enterprises with large export turnover.
According to the assessment of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the current situation of waste and waste of raw materials is still large, so businesses need to strongly switch from manual production models, relying on raw materials to models using automated equipment and modern technology lines.
Gia Lai prioritizes supporting private enterprises with capacity and potential in strategic areas such as agricultural products, food processing, high-tech public - agricultural, renewable energy, etc.
At the same time, the province encourages the application of modern, environmentally friendly technology, promotes research - development and expands markets, especially key export markets such as the United States, China and the Asia - Pacific region.
Gia Lai is currently a key agricultural region of the country, having formed and developed many large-scale specialized crop areas, applying high technology to produce key agricultural products.
Products such as coffee, bananas, rubber, pepper, durian, sweet potatoes... have high economic value, meet export standards, serve many international markets such as the EU, the US, Korea, Japan...
The province's two main export products are coffee and fruit, with turnover in 2024 reaching 640 million USD and 150 million USD respectively. Typical local products such as honey, macadamia nuts, cashew nuts, bird's nest, green tea... also have great potential to expand exports.
