On July 28, information from the People's Committee of Cua Lo ward said that the locality had just issued Decision No. 1689 sanctioning administrative violations against Mr. P.V. D. for the act of selling goods and services at prices higher than the listed price.
According to the decision, Mr. D. collected service fees higher than the listed price at parking lot No. 19, Cua Lo ward.
The above act violates the provisions of Clause 2, Article 13, Decree No. 87/2024/ND-CP of the Government on sanctioning administrative violations in price management.
The People's Committee of Cua Lo ward decided to fine Mr. D. 7.5 million VND. In addition to the fine, the violator is also forced to return to the customer the amount collected higher than the listed price.
The violator must comply with the penalty decision within 10 days from the date of receipt of the decision. If they do not voluntarily comply, they will be subject to enforcement according to legal regulations.
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of Cua Lo Ward People's Committee said that the locality will continue to strengthen inspection, strictly implement and strictly handle violations in service business activities, especially acts of not listing prices or collecting prices higher than listed prices.
The inspection and handling aims to promptly rectify business activities, protect the rights of people and tourists, and gradually build a civilized, friendly, and safe Cua Lo tourism environment, becoming an increasingly attractive destination.
