On June 8, information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province said that the Sub-Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection of Khanh Hoa province has issued decisions to sanction administrative violations against two agricultural material business households for trading fertilizers and pesticides that do not ensure quality according to technical regulations.
Accordingly, business household N.T. T. Tr (Trang Thong agricultural material store, Cam Lam commune) was fined 20.25 million VND for trading NPK Ha Lan 20-15-7+TE mixed fertilizer products that do not meet corresponding technical standards.

Previously, the inspection team of the Sub-Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection took product samples for quality testing. The results showed that the effective potassium index (K2Ohh) only reached 87.4% compared to the registered level, lower than the permissible deviation threshold according to regulations.
At the time of re-inspection, all 18 bags of fertilizer belonging to the violating shipment had been consumed by the establishment. The value of the violating shipment was determined to be 16.2 million VND.
In addition to the administrative fine, business households also have to return more than 1 million VND of product quality testing costs to the state inspection agency.
Previously, the Sub-Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection of Khanh Hoa province also issued a decision to fine business household N.T. T. T (Thanh An agricultural material store, Suoi Dau commune) 1.5 million VND for trading pesticides that do not meet quality standards.
The sample of pesticide HAIHAMEC 3.6EC tested showed that the content of active ingredient Abamectin was lower than the announced level, not in accordance with the national technical regulations on the quality of pesticides.
The inspection team determined that all 40 bottles of medicine belonging to the violating shipment had been sold out before the inventory inspection time. The value of the violating shipment is 2.6 million VND.
This business establishment must also refund 567,000 VND for product quality testing costs according to regulations.
According to the Sub-Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection of Khanh Hoa province, strengthening the quality inspection of fertilizers and pesticides is aimed at protecting farmers' rights, preventing substandard products from circulating in the market, contributing to ensuring agricultural production efficiency and a healthy business environment.
