Fine of 150 million VND for Lien Ket Vietnam multi-level marketing company

    The National Competition Committee issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of 150 million VND on Lien Ket Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company.

    Through inspection of compliance with the law on management of multi-level business activities and protection of consumer rights, the National Competition Committee (Ministry of Industry and Trade) issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Lien Ket Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company (headquarters address at Lot C16/D21 Cau Giay New Urban Area, Dich Vong Hau Street, Cau Giay Ward, Hanoi City) with a fine of 150 million VND for the following violations:

    - Not assigning contracts to multi-level marketing participants according to the provisions of law.

    - Not allowing consumers to choose to allow or not allow the performance of one of the acts specified in points a, b, clause 4, Article 18 of the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights.
