On the morning of August 27, at An Giang Labor Cultural House (Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province), the Provincial Labor Confederation (LDL) organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Program among public employees and workers.
This is the second blood donation in 2024. There are 500 union members of workers and civil servants living in Long Xuyen city, including: Provincial Public Employees' Union, Industry Trade Union, Mechanical Trade Union Emulation Blocks. Enterprise departments under the Provincial Labor Confederation register to participate.
Accordingly, each union member who donates blood in a volume of 350ml will be supported with 50,000 VND for travel expenses and a gift worth 180,000 VND. The program is implemented by Can Tho Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 136th birthday anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 2024) of the Trade Union organization and union members, workers and labor officials of An Giang province.
