On August 9, the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai Province cooperated with Chợ Rẫy Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize a voluntary blood donation event with the participation of over 300 employees of Ofi Vietnam Company's branch in Bien Hoa City.
The blood donation event ensured strict adherence to professional procedures and absolute safety, and was carried out seriously by the volunteers.
Ms. Vu Ngan Khanh, an employee of Ofi Vietnam Company's branch in Bien Hoa City, said: "This is the first time I have participated in voluntary blood donation with the hope of contributing to helping patients in need."
After the blood donation event ended, the collected blood units will be promptly added to the blood reserve to serve emergency and treatment needs for patients.
The representative of the leaders of Ofi Vietnam Company's branch in Bien Hoa City said: Blood donation is to give away blood cells in the body voluntarily in order to help and share with patients who need it. Humanitarian blood donation is a noble act, demonstrating a sense of benevolence and the tradition of helping others, and the good deed of our nation.
In addition to organizing voluntary blood donation events, Ofi Vietnam Company also organizes annual activities to award scholarships to the children of workers and employees working at the company in order to show concern and encouragement for the spirit of workers and their children to overcome difficult circumstances and continue to contribute to the development of the company in particular and society in general.
