On January 9, Mr. Lam Thanh Si - Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor - led a working delegation to start the program of visiting and giving Tet gifts to union members, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances due to work accidents or serious illnesses, who are participating in grassroots trade unions and trade unions.
With the theme “Tet Sum Vay - Spring Thanks to the Party”, during this trip, the delegation visited Phu Tan district, wished a happy new year and presented gifts to support 12 union members and workers who suffered from work-related accidents or serious illnesses. Each gift was worth 1 million VND from the financial resources of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited and wished a Happy New Year to Phu Tan District Party Committee and Chau Doc City Party Committee; awarded Certificates of Merit to the Provincial People's Committee to 2 enterprises that achieved the title "Enterprise for Workers" in 2024 and wished a Happy New Year to 4 enterprises: JIC Vietnam Co., Ltd., Vy Thinh One Member Co., Ltd. (Phu Tan District); Nhat Tan General Hospital Co., Ltd.; Center for Vocational Education and Driving Test in the Delta (Chau Doc City).
It is known that on the occasion of Tet At Ty, An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized many working delegations to visit, wish a happy new year and support gifts for 300 union members and workers in difficult circumstances due to work accidents and serious illnesses in the province. "This is not only a gift-giving program but also an opportunity for us to spread the values, solidarity, sharing and attachment of the Trade Union organization with union members, workers and laborers", Mr. Lam Thanh Si emphasized.
