The Trade Union of Industry and Trade of Bac Giang province in coordination with the Labor Federation of Bac Giang province has just organized the inauguration and handover of the Trade Union Shelter to Ms. Duong Thi Thuong, a member of the Trade Union of BGG Lang Giang Garment Joint Stock Company.
The family of Ms. Duong Thi Thuong, a member of the Trade Union of BGG Lang Giang Garment Joint Stock Company, is in difficult circumstances. The old house built in 1980 has been degraded for many years and is not safe. After storm No. 3 (storm Yagi), the roof was blown away, causing the house to leak in many places and the walls to tilt. Her family had to stay with someone else.
Understanding the difficult circumstances of Ms. Thuong's family, the Industry Union proactively advised and requested the Provincial Federation of Labor to consider and provide timely support so that her family could stabilize their lives.
To date, the project has been completed and put into use. The total value of the project is over 400 million VND. Of which, the Trade Union Shelter Fund of the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 40 million VND, the rest was saved by the family and borrowed from relatives and friends.
At the house inauguration and handover ceremony, the Bac Giang Industry and Trade Union, together with local authorities and organizations, and the BGG Lang Giang Garment Joint Stock Company Union presented the family with many gifts of essential items. The house was completed and put into use, helping the family stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
