Presenting 50 "Union Shelters" to poor working households

    HCMC - The HCMC Labor Federation has presented 50 "Union Shelters" to poor working households in Can Gio district.

    At the Conference to summarize the labor movement and trade union activities in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024 organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on the afternoon of January 8, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation presented 50 "Union Shelters" to poor working households in Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City.

    The total cost to support the construction of 50 "Union Shelters" is about 3 billion VND.

    Previously, to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and respond to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the city, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also launched the construction of 95 "Union Shelters", which were concentrated in District 8, Binh Tan District, Nha Be, Binh Chanh, and Hoc Mon districts of Ho Chi Minh City.
