On January 7, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor held a handover ceremony of the Trade Union Shelter to union member Nguyen Quoc Khanh - Trade Union of Soc Trang Urban Construction Joint Stock Company.
Union member Nguyen Quoc Khanh is in a difficult situation with housing. His wife is unemployed and his two children are in school. All family expenses depend on Khanh's income of more than 5 million VND/month.
"Previously, the whole family had to live with their uncle because they did not have the means to build their own house. With the support of 50 million VND from the Labor Union, the family contributed a little more to build a more spacious and solid house. This year, we are extremely touched and happy to have a new house," said union member Nguyen Quoc Khanh.
At the house handover ceremony, Mr. Le Van Phai - Vice Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor - congratulated the family of union member Nguyen Quoc Khanh on having a new house in time for the traditional Tet holiday. He hoped that the family would overcome difficulties and excel in work and production.
