On May 18, Mr. Tran Huy Phuong - Deputy Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee - attended and encouraged workers at the "Trade Union Meal" program organized by the Trade Union of Luxshare-ICT Co., Ltd. (Vietnam).
Attending were Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee member, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation. This is a meaningful activity on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026.
Meals in the program are worth 50,000 VND/meal, double compared to normal day shift meals; all costs are jointly supported by businesses and grassroots trade unions.
Thanks to the additional funding, the quality of meals has been significantly improved with 4 nutritious menus for workers to choose from. In addition to white rice, vegetables, soup, soft drinks and dessert fruits, the meal also has attractive main dishes such as: Fried chicken wings with fish sauce, roasted pork belly, bitter melon stuffed with meat or beef with vang sauce, roasted duck, braised eggs...
Speaking at the program, Mr. Tran Huy Phuong affirmed that the annual Workers' Month is a peak month showing the care of Party committees, authorities, and trade union organizations for workers. In which, the "Trade Union Meal" program is not only practical in terms of material but also expresses feelings, sharing, and attachment between businesses, trade union organizations and workers.
Mr. Tran Huy Phuong acknowledged and thanked the business for always accompanying, allocating resources, and closely coordinating with the grassroots trade union to better care for workers' lives. Specific and practical activities like today contribute to improving the quality of meals, improving living conditions, and creating more motivation for workers to feel secure in working and production.
Mr. Tran Huy Phuong requested all levels, sectors, businesses and trade union organizations to continue to care for workers, from salaries, preferential treatment to cultural and spiritual activities; create a stable and safe working environment, so that workers can be attached to the business for a long time.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the trade union organization to continue to promote its representative role, protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations, promptly propose and recommend appropriate solutions. The worker contingent needs to improve awareness and responsibility in labor production, strictly comply with regulations on labor safety, contributing to building a safe and effective working environment.
Mr. Tran Huy Phuong emphasized that Bac Ninh province always accompanies businesses, promptly supports and removes difficulties and obstacles. From there, create favorable conditions for businesses to stabilize, develop sustainably, and continue to contribute to the overall development of the province.
On this occasion, Mr. Tran Huy Phuong and members of the working delegation presented 150 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to encouraging and supporting workers to overcome difficulties and feel secure in labor production.
